Megan M. Stoltz

Megan is an experienced mediator and family law attorney. Her mediation practice is focused on helping participants communicate effectively through their conflicts and encouraging them to look for creative resolutions to their disputes. Megan serves on the Board of the Children and the Law Section of the State Bar, an elected position.

In a litigation setting, Megan is a zealous advocate for the best interests of children and other legally vulnerable individuals. She is routinely appointed by the Court to act as Guardian ad Litem (“GAL”), where she represents the best interests of children or at-risk adults in custody and placement disputes, paternity, child abuse, termination of parental rights, guardianship, probate and other matters. Megan has presented at the State Bar of Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin Law School on GAL topics.

Education

Megan earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. She is the recipient of a concentration in Peace Studies from the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice.

Born and raised in South Central Wisconsin, Megan is a third generation Wisconsin attorney. She resides in Monona, Wisconsin, with her two young children, who offer her endless opportunities to hone her mediation skills.
